Jenny and her team have provided invaluable counsel and delivered exceptional results. They conducted a rigorous assessment of our fundraising program and external relations functions, developed a comprehensive capacity building plan, and helped us secure a multi-year, multi-million dollar grant to fund that plan. They then stayed on to coach our staff and rolled up their sleeves to work alongside us to ensure we achieved our goals, including doubling our board, expanding our grants portfolio, launching an annual gala, and strengthening our donor communications and stewardship strategies.
– Courtney Welsh, CEO, Global Nomads Group
For our small, but growing organization, Jenny has provided extraordinary development counsel. She’s not only our led donor strategies, but facilitated our strategic planning process, supported governance shifts, and advanced a more sophisticated communications strategy as we transition from a founding Executive Director. Most of all, Jenny has been a seasoned voice to coach and guide both the Board and Executive Director.
– Catherine Hyde Townsend, Board President, Women Enabled International
Jenny is a strategic thinker, creative fundraiser and superlative writer. She is highly skilled at finding fundraising solutions for any non-profit. Through our many years of engagement, she has helped organizations secure private and public grants, led staff searches, conducted development audits and made strategic recommendations to improve all aspects of a department’s revenue profile. Her knowledge and experience around strategic planning, board development and process will inform any client. Her insight into connecting mission, vision and values with real world issues can help non-profits remain relevant with the changing world around them. I would recommend her work without exception.

I have hired Jenny to work with me at two national non-profit organizations I have led, as well as enlisted her as a community volunteer for local NJ causes I care about. We first worked together on a business plan, and Jenny was able to quickly synthesize a great deal of information, extract and clearly communicate the key points, strengthen areas of weakness, and craft programmatic, structural, and financial objectives to help advance the organization’s mission.
As fundraising counsel, Jenny has conducted interviews and independent research and immersed herself to fully understand my organization. Her thorough research and accumulated knowledge of grant-making organizations has allowed her to identify likely funding sources for specific projects and programs -- with a high degree of success. Jenny has extraordinary communication skills - writing and editing grant proposals, annual fund and major gift appeals, web content, newsletters, and annual reports. She is also strategic and analytical; she has been a gem with preparing and reviewing budgets, and making recommendations to better present them to grant-making organizations. Jenny is a trusted and treasured colleague.

We needed to create a grants management structure for our Development Department, and we wanted to bring in someone who was going to do it right. Jenny came in and quickly and accurately assessed our needs, grasped the nuances of our work, and was completely respectful of the organization’s culture. She created intuitive systems and detailed protocols that we could put in place right away, and she made concrete recommendations for building a dynamic institutional giving program going forward.
Jenny also developed a comprehensive training program and provided a “foundation relations 101” course for our junior staff. Jenny brings extensive fundraising experience and a deep understanding of philanthropy, as well as fresh insights, ideas, and a strategic approach to every project she works on.
– Betsy Gude, Managing Director of Development, Council on Foreign Relations
I had the pleasure of working with Jenny during a year when our development department was in transition. I was grateful to have her as a sounding board and a source of keen, strategic thinking about both external fundraising strategy and internal structures and operations. Jenny is an amazing writer and was able to create concise, compelling proposals for operating grants, as well as tailored asks for funders interested in specific areas of Reeve Foundation research and programming.
She also conducted extensive research to uncover new corporate and foundation prospects and made key recommendations about who to meet with, talking points for those meetings, and how to package our grant, sponsorship, and cause-marketing opportunities. In addition to spearheading a number of important projects for us, Jenny helped lay the groundwork for a comprehensive corporate and foundation relations program going forward, which we greatly needed.
